Adsorption Dryers R-DRY BVL

R-DRY BVL 400-10000 adsorption dryers are designed for continuous separation of water vapour from compressed air, thereby lowering the dew point. R-DRY BVL dryers have two columns that operate alternately. Adsorption takes place under pressure in the first column, while the second column is regenerated by heated ambient air for desorption. Cooling then takes place with water-cooled air in a closed circuit. Because of the closed circuit cooling, the BVL type of dryer is suitable for applications where a low PDP is required in warmer and more humid ambient conditions. Because they are cooled with water-cooled air in a closed circuit, BVL dryers do not consume compressed air during operation. A dryer consists of two columns, filled with desiccant, a fan, a water heater, an air-water heat exchanger, a controller with LCD display, valves, pressure gauges and a robust skid. A compact, proven design ensures efficient, reliable operation, rapid installation and simple maintenance.
