WHFIT welded stainless steel filters with threaded connections are designed to protect any industrial equipment located downstream in the compressed air system. They are used for the filtration of compressed air as well as many other gases where the risk of corrosion is very high or where a stainless steel housing is specifically required. The WHFIT process filter housing can be used in a variety of applications. For applications not listed, contact the manufacturer or your local distributor. For oil removal, a coalescing filter element must be installed and an inward flow direction provided. The compressed air quality required by ISO 8571-1 can be achieved with 8 different grades of filter element (PI, PIW, PN, PP, PR, PM, PS and PA).
